Another good benefit is the fact that improve the overall hygiene of the bathroom area. 4 Different Types of WC Partitions

All of our honeycomb panels are furnished complete with specific finishing and edge closeouts. For the installation, simply follow the drawings and then it is a matter of drilling and bolting the WC partitions in place.

When it comes to different types of WC partitions, there are four common types of partitions. In most circumstances, the type of partition you use will ultimately depend on the amount of traffic to the bathroom. And each different partition comes with its own set of benefits and features. As custom manufacturers, we can create a material that specifically adheres to your specs.

1) Metal

The most common partition you will find on the market is metal. That is also because they are the most economical for various reasons. The most popular of this group is the powder-coated steel partition. With this, you can add the color you want by powdering the steel and putting the partition in an oven. So the powder is baked on the surface giving it a smooth, even finish that lasts. The powder steel is applied over a sheet of metal that covers honeycomb cardboard.

2) Plastic Laminate

A plastic laminate finish is slightly more expensive than a metal partition. During the manufacturing of this partition, the pieces are created by gluing a layer of laminated plastic to a particle board substrate. Then a thin sheet of laminate is applied to the sheet. Its popularity comes from the fact that it is easiest to customize. And thus available in a wide range of colors. So you can match it to the rest of the setting without going overboard in price.

However, one downside of these WC partitions is that they do not do well in humidity or areas that can become wet. So if you decide on getting a plastic laminate partition, makes sure it is dry.

3) Solid Plastic

Solid plastic partitions are very durable and resistant. They are made of one-inch-thick solid plastic panels, that will cost almost 75% more than powder coated steel partition and about 65% more than plastic laminate partition.

They are the ideal solution for public restrooms, schools, transportation facilities bathrooms, and heavy traffic restrooms. Their warranty is almost between 10 and 15 years long and because of their durability, they can be used almost everywhere.

They are not cheap, but they certainly will last longer than many other partition types. Prices can vary between $350 for a 36" by 60"deep and $1,800 for a three - 36" x 60", but that will also depend on the layout and type of installation needed.

4) Stainless Steel

The fourth option here is also the most expensive option. However, it is also the most durable and sophisticated of the bunch. Due to their durability, they last a long time. They are also scratch resistant and easy to clean. You can use them in virtually any environment, which is a bonus too. You pay for what you get!

The biggest con with stainless steel WC partitions is the fact that they are, well, made of stainless steel. So they are quite heavy and difficult to install.
